General Problems

Simon Sez IT needed to drive more traffic to their blog posts. Upon conducting an analysis on their site, it appears that they needed some changes to their published posts as there were several negative SEO hits that needed attention. We went ahead and applied several strategies to improve the traffic of their blog posts.

Added FAQs Schema Using Rank Math

Many blog posts of Simon Sez IT didn’t include an FAQs section. This is one of the reasons why they’re not getting as much traffic as they could possibly get. Adding a FAQs section to a couple of articles in the first few weeks increased their traffic significantly. This also helped the published posts to rank for secondary keywords as we have included them in the questions and answers in this section.

Included GIFs and Videos

We aimed to also increase user engagement and improve the average time of the readers on the pages. Including GIFs and videos was our take to do this and it truly showed significant improvement.

Integrated Page Jumps

The inclusion of page jumps not only improved their pages’ SEO, but also helped in making the articles more reader-friendly. This allows their audience to skip to subheadings or sections that they only want or need to read. They also appeared in the meta descriptions. This allows their audience to jump directly into that section. Also, it gives them the idea of what the article is all about by just seeing the meta description.

Summary

Besides Simon Sez IT’s business software courses, they also publish tons of informative articles for their audience. These are posts that have detailed step-by-step instructions on how to perform certain tasks on different kinds of tools. They also have listicles of other useful sources of templates.
